Picking Kona to do was a no-brainer. Not only is his owner, Mike Martin, a friend but he’s a Rottweiler! My favorite breed with fine memories of my dogs Medusa and Pepper. Medusa was my first kid, practically.

This was the second painting is a series of 2 that I advertised doing quick pet pictures and recording them on YouTube. I reverted to the original way I intended to do these pictures for Kona, which didn’t include as much layering as I did on Oakley. For it being quick, I was pretty happy with it and Mike reported loving it so that mainly what matters,
